Moana Grant is a tattoo artist whose practice is grounded in identity, whakapapa, and place. Her designs draw inspiration from the whenua and moana of Tairāwhiti, carrying stories into bold, permanent form. Alongside her tattoo work, Moana is the founder of Siduri, a wine bar and deli in Gisborne that has become a hub for creativity, hospitality, and connection. Through both ink and community, she weaves spaces where people feel seen, heard, and part of something larger.

Her ink is more than art – it’s whakapapa, identity, and connection, etched into skin. At MŌWAI, Moana brings her creative energy to the space, reminding us that art lives in our bodies as much as on the walls.
