Malcolm Rutherford
Bio
Full time ecologist and part time photographer, I love being in the outdoors, and documenting what I see. I grew up on a farm in Southland, and moved to Tairāwhiti in 2013 with my wife Amanda. My photography tends to be a pretty accurate representation of what I see, rather than something to be manipulated. I've always had a few photography projects on the go - one on fishing and fishing boats, one on land use, and I've had a long term project on our relationship with plants - something that I've been interested in for a few decades now.
